Reno to Las Vegas

Our drive home took 7 hours and about 3/4 a tank of gas.  Mo said that Edward the Edge did amazing on gas.  Yay for our new car and the simple pleasures of great gas mileage.  While we were playing around with my iPhone Sirius radio popped on.  It was such a pleasant surprise.  Mo enjoyed driving while rocking out to classic rock.  I felt like I was back in Marilla growing up.  What good memories music can bring on.  Edward is still lacking a few wants such as a dvd player for the kiddos and a hitch for our bike trailer.  Reece and Raine were able to watch a few movies on the lap top and play on their DSI and iPod.  It was a sweet simple ride home.

Galena Creek County Park

Galena Creek was so refreshing and beautiful.  I could have sat on the side of it all day long.

My boys found old fishing line laying around the pond.  Then they searched for sticks and made their own old school fishing rods.  Mo actually caught two fish on his lure that was actually a fly fishing lure.  We did stay at Marilyn pond for very long but is was fun while we were there.

Reno Aces Baseball Date

Reno Aces baseball is just about the same as Las Vegas 51's baseball.  I felt like I was sitting in the same stadium but it was a lot cooler out.  We had an awesome date night with Mike and Shontell.  I forgot how much Mo loved watching ball. It was so enjoyable seeing him excited about something other than hunting.  The baseball player is the boy I fell in love with; glad to see he still has it in him.
